Tricks of the Trade

Wednesday, September 2, 2020

This panel of operators will share tricks of the trade in the ever-changing recycling facility world. We gathered some of our member operators to find answers to the questions of: What safety practices work at your facility in this new normal of COVID-19? What ways do you communicate new recycling specs to the public? How do you best convince your town budget to approve what you need? How do you maximize recycling separation with limited space at your facility? What can you do to make your plastics and paper recycling programs worth more? We will share their exemplars and photos with you so you can put these tricks to practical use!

Join NRRA for this webinar to discuss these issues. Panelists include: Joanie Cudworth, Director of Public Works in Hollis, NH; Brian Patnoe, Recycling Manager at Littleton, NH; and Ed Walsh, the Transfer Station Manager at Rollinsford, NH.

NRRA launched a Summer Webinar Series instead of our annual conference in 2020, which we had to cancel due to the pandemic.  We still wanted to share the workshops that would have been available at the conference, so we created the Summer Webinar Series.  We charge a fee for attending the conference, and charging a modest fee for the Summer Webinar Series (live and recorded) allows us to cover NRRA's staff time, as well as recoup some of the lost revenue from our conference.

Fee and payment Information:

  • NRRA Member Pricing: $25
  • NRRA Not-yet-member pricing: $50
  • It is easiest and fastest to register online with a credit card. However, if you require NRRA to invoice you, please email info@nrrarecycles.org to receive a code to register.
