Municipal Membership
Municipal membership is available to all municipalities in the Northeast.
Benefits
- Access to all NRRA programs and services, including:
- Cooperative marketing - including our monthly pricing guide
- Cooperative purchasing - including assistance with purchasing recycling infrastructure (ex. balers, skid steers, trailers and storage containers)
- Educational programs - including free NRRA School Recycling Club membership for all K-12 schools in your municipality
- Technical assistance - including access to our exclusive municipal member email listserv
- Voting privileges at NRRA annual and special member meetings
- Discounts available for:
- NRRA award winning annual conference
- NRRA annual meeting, workshops, bus tours, other events
- NRRA School Club recycling programming
- Grant processing assistance for any New Hampshire the Beautiful bins, grants, signs and grant applications for recycling infrastructure (NH members only)
- Regular e-newsletters “Full of Scrap” and “School News You Can Use”
- Support NRRA’s mission of partnering to make recycling strong through economic and environmentally sound solutions
Dues
Membership Fee is .07/capita ($ 100 minimum/$ 1,800 maximum)
- Municipal dues year runs from April 1 through March 31* (option for July 1 thru June 30 available upon request)
- Municipal membership fees can be prorated (by the quarter) for new members
- Solid waste district dues are determined based on the entire district’s population, even if only one municipality within the district wishes to join. Once a solid waste district joins NRRA, the district and all its communities receive access to full benefits of NRRA voting municipal membership.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is available to businesses, government agencies, non-profits, trade associations, and individuals.

Dues
Businesses: 1-50 employees: $150/year; Over 50 employees: $250/year
Government Agencies: $150/year
Non-Profits: $75/year
Trade Association Membership: $250 plus $75 for each trade association member
Individual Membership: $ 50/year
- Associate membership is not available to NRRA Vendors
- Associate dues year runs from October 1 through September 30 (can be prorated for new members, except those joining in conjunction with the annual conference)
