The Power of Recycling Partnerships

New Hampshire residents and visitors benefit from a variety of unique partnerships - both formal and informal - that help to effectively manage their recycling and waste every day.

Informal partnerships can include partnering together for events - such as Household Hazardous Waste days - or to move low-volume materials, combining loads in one pick-up so both towns can save money. Formal partnerships can include Solid Waste Districts, Shared Facilities, and Host Sites with feeder towns.

This interactive story map includes text, photos, and maps to share these remarkable partnerships. Explore the maps to see which municipalities participate and how a recycling partnership may benefit your community.

It may take a few seconds for the maps to load.  Trust us, it's worth the wait!
