Welcome to our 2023 New Board Members!

March 29, 2023
The NRRA Board of Trustees has welcomed Littleton Solid Waste Manager, Steve Bean, and Lancaster Town Manager, Ben Gaetjens-Oleson to the Board! We at NRRA are grateful for dedicated and experienced Board Members, such as Steve and Ben, who are committed to NRRA's mission of partnering to make recycling strong through economic and environmentally sound solutions.
Steve has worked at the Littleton Transfer Station since 2014, becoming Lead Attendant in 2017, and Manager in February of 2021. He was awarded the NRRA Rookie of the Year in 2021 and most recently came in 2nd place in NHTB Engage the Residents contest! Working in conjunction with the NRRA and Trex decking, Steve has created the film recycling program in Littleton that continues to divert the product away from the landfill. In his spare time Steve enjoys riding his Harley, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his wife Pamela and their Cocker Spaniel Sammie.
Ben has worked for the Town of Lancaster since 2009 where he began as their Planning/Zoning Coordinator. In April, 2021 he was appointed as their Town Manager and also serves as the Emergency Management Director. He was born and raised in town and continues to call Lancaster his home with his wonderful wife, Suzanne. His two adult daughters, Imani and Isabella, continue to be a source of pride and inspiration to him. He is a member of several local, regional, and State committees, including the Lancaster Rotary Club, North Country Council and the NH Community Development Finance Authority. Ben has had the good fortune to be associated with many professionals that have selflessly shared their time and knowledge which has allowed him to better serve his community. His commitment to the responsible and sustainable development of Lancaster is driven by his desire for his children to experience the vibrant community he grew up in.
If you see them, please extend your congratulations to both!
