2022 Annual Meeting Board of Trustee Slate

Below is the slate of NRRA Board of Trustees that are up for re-election at our 2022 Annual Meeting.  All NRRA Municipal Voting Member municipalities that plan to send a representative to our annual meeting should designate which attendee will be voting on the town's behalf.



Joan CudworthJoan Cudworth, Director of Public Works, Town of Hollis, NH – 3 Year Term, Expiring 2025

As Board Chair, Joan is a supporter of the NRRA, what it stands for, and looks forward to both the future of NRRA and the future of composting in the state of NH.

Joan has been working for the Town of Hollis over 20 years. She worked at the Transfer Station for 18 years before being promoted to Director of Public Works. Joan enjoys the challenges in the Solid Waste field and continues to oversee the Transfer Station.  The everyday unknowns and the ever-changing recycling markets have kept her engaged over the years. Besides her day-to-day work load  as Director, she continues to help with snow plowing and any other duties that need to be covered at the Public Works garage. The Town of Hollis is a MS4 community where Joan is the lead on the MS4 program. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Scott, her father John, her two daughters and son in laws and grandson Luke, granddaughters Zoe and Delaney. Joanie loves to play and watch Luke play soccer. Art with Zoe and singing to baby Delaney.  Joanie loves to garden, hike, puzzle and spend time at the beach.

 


John HurdJohn Hurd, Vermont Program Manager,PaintCare Inc. – 3 Year Term, Expiring 2025

 John is currently the Vermont program manager for PaintCare, working on setting up a paint recycling system in Vermont. He has been on the NRRA Board since 2007 bringing his experience with implementing cost effective recycling and special waste collections to rural areas. His background includes seven years working in programs and administration at the Greater Upper Valley Solid Waste Management District and six years as the Programs Manager for the Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District in northern Vermont and a BS in Environmental Science from Johnson State College.

 

 

 

 

Jamie ManzoliniJames Manzolini, Director of Public Works, Town of Wellesley, MA – 3 Year Term, Expiring 2025

 James (Jamie) was born and raised in western Massachusetts (the Berkshires). He Studied civil engineering at Northeastern University in Boston with a minor in business. Over the course of 8 years, following college, Jamie worked at 3 private civil engineering (site design/land development) companies in and around Boston. In the following 3 years, he was self-employed in the trucking and transportation industry. About 7 years ago, Jamie took a municipal job in the engineering field with the Town of Wellesley, MA and recently accepted the position as the Superintendent at the Wellesley Recycling and Disposal Facility.

 In his free time, Jamie enjoys spending time outside (hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, skiing, making maple syrup, any and all activities outside in nature).

 

 

Erin ParadisErin Paradis, Transfer Station Administrator, Town of Barrington, NH – 3 Year Term, Expiring 2025

 Erin has resided in the Town of Barrington for a good part of her life and has been working for the Town of Barrington for 11 years, the past 7 years as the Administrative Assistant for the Highway Department and the Transfer Station. March of 2020 she was promoted to the Transfer Station Administrator, where she is working to improve community relations, public education and promote the merits of reducing, reusing, and recycling. In addition, Erin is also the Assistant Emergency Management Director and has assisted in several FEMA declared storms. Erin is very involved with her community, and her favorite way to educate, interact and showcase what the departments do with the public is with the Highway Department annual Open House, Trunk or Treat and school field trips.

 In her free time, when she is not playing softball, horseshoes, or corn hole, she can be found spending time with her very supportive husband, Greg, their two teenage children and an assortment of furballs!
