IMPORTANT RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL INFORMATION FOR E-CIG AND VAPE USERS

CARTRIDGES: Used eLiquid cartridges and bottles should NOT be thrown in your household trash. Because these containers held nicotine, which is listed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a hazardous waste, they must be disposed of properly with other household hazardous waste. DO NOT RINSE the containers. Place used vape or eCig containers in a hard plastic container (such as an old laundry detergent bottle) and store them away from children. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends delivering the sealed container to a local hazardous waste facility at least every 90 days.

BATTERIES: eCigarette and Vape pens use Lithium-Ion batteries. These batteries can cause serious injury if improperly handled (they should NOT be taken out of the device) and are serious fire hazards both in the home and at a transfer station or recycling center if improperly disposed of. Contact your transfer station or recycling program for specific information on how to dispose of lithium-ion batteries in your town - DO NOT THROW IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD TRASH!
