Help Wanted: Transfer Station & Recycling Center Attendant, Strafford, NH - Full Time

STRAFFORD TRANSFER STATION/RECYCLING CENTER ATTENDANT 

Immediate opening.  Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM – 1 PM and Wednesdays 4-7 PM, as needed. 

This position requires ability to deal effectively with the public, to understand, follow, and give oral and written instructions and to perform manual labor. Job also requires assistance with snow removal at the facility when needed. Starting rate is dependent upon experience and education.  

Requirements: Applicant must be 18 years of age and hold a valid NH driver’s license. Certification from State of New Hampshire as Solid Waste Facility Operator preferred; Town of Strafford will pay for certifications. Applicant must become a Certified Transfer Station Attendant within 30 Days of hire.
