Help Wanted: NRRA Member Services Representative

Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA) seeks a self-motivated individual for the position of Member Services Representative.  The successful candidate will have a desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment, possess an Associate’s degree in environmental science, environmental education or related field and one to three years of related experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities, have excellent customer service skills, and support NRRA’s mission to partner with communities to make recycling and waste reduction strong through economic and environmentally sound solutions. 

This is a full-time position based at the NRRA office in Epsom, NH.  NRRA is one of only a handful of nonprofits in the country that connects municipalities selling recyclable commodities with buyers of those recyclables.  The Member Services Representative works with NRRA member communities to provide cooperative marketing, education, and technical assistance to assist them with day-to-day operations of their recycling programs and long-range planning for the entire waste stream.  Experience with municipal recycling, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and work effectively and calmly under pressure are essential for this position.

The Northeast Resource Recovery Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. NRRA provides cooperative purchasing programs, educational and networking opportunities, technical assistance, and cooperative marketing programs that have received national recognition for establishing innovative grassroots recyclables marketing cooperatives with competitive pricing which enable small rural and large urban communities to manage their own recycling programs.
