NRRA Summer Series Webinar: Thinking Outside the Bin for Your Event (Part 1)
NRRA’s event recycling programs help residents continue their great recycling efforts while having fun at sporting events, street festivals/fairs, school events, fall harvest days and Earth Day events. Let us help you identify resources within the waste stream that can systematically be removed from disposal. Discover what it takes to adopt a goal of 100% recycling, reuse, and organic diversion so your event emulates sustainable natural cycles, where all discarded materials are resources for others to use.
Join the Northeast Resource Recovery Association, your recycling nonprofit, for this webinar to discuss these issues. Cindy Sterling is the Grants Manager and Senior Educator at NRRA. Ben Perham is the Education Assistant at NRRA (and screen shot master).
This webinar is available for both NRRA members and nonmembers. The following audiences are encouraged to participate: municipal recycling and transfer station staff, solid waste operators, public works staff, state and local government officials and staff, educators and community members. New Hampshire solid waste operators will receive one hour of continuing education credit for participating.
