MOM Member/Operations Marketing Meeting

This meeting will be held in-person at the Windham Solid Waste Management District (WSWMD), 327 Old Ferry Road, Brattleboro, VT 05301.
Meeting open to all NRRA Municipal Members- please bring a fellow recycler.
Meeting includes:
- Introductions
- Cooperative Marketing and Purchasing monthly review
- Technical Assistance and Education updates
- Discussion of Member Challenges and Success Stories
- Tour of Windham Recycling and Composting Facility- Bob Spencer, Director
- WSWMD collects and composts mixed organic material and sells the resulting composting. The District recently created a tire consolidation program to obtain better tire recycling service and pricing with NRRA. They also have solar panels on their closed landfill.
Attendance at MOM meetings count as 1.5 hours of continuing professional development credit for the NH DES Solid Waste Operator Certification.
